With modern mineral exploration, certain hazards exist while exploration drilling activities occur, so it is not possible for unguided tours of the drill rig area for members of the public. SXG offers guided tours at our Sunday Creek exploration project site.

If you’ve ever wondered what exploration involves, join us for a guided tour of Southern Cross Gold's Sunday Creek site in Clonbinane and learn more about our activities firsthand from our experienced team of geologists.
You’ll see our drill rigs in action, see what gold and antimony looks like when it’s removed as core from the earth and hear about the historic Clonbinane goldfields.
Safety equipment will be supplied but please wear long pants, long sleeved shirts and covered shoes suitable for walking in. A link to our online induction will be emailed to attendees to complete once a booking is made.
Attendees will arrive at WandongTrain Station and will be transported to Southern Cross Gold's site by bus. Water and a snack will be provided. We ask that all attendees arrive at 5:15pm for a 5:30pm departure as we cannot accommodate late arrivals.
