Southern Cross Gold welcomes the Victorian Government’s release of the Critical Minerals Roadmap which will provide clearer and more certain pathways for minerals projects across the state.  

The roadmap will streamline approvals pathways and investigate benefit sharing models for local communities, landholders, Traditional Owners to deliver positive social, environmental and economic outcomes.

Central Victoria sits on one of Australia’s largest antimony deposits, which is a critical mineral essential to defence and battery technology. Our drilling activities will continue into 2025 so that we can continue to build our understanding of the Sunday Creek gold and antimony resources.
