Southern Cross Gold acknowledges the responsibility we are entrusted with in regards to looking after the environment and we are committed to being long-term stewards of our natural resources and the ecosystems they support. We have staff that are passionate about the environment and recently two of those staff members, Jonna our Land Manager and Geologist Claudia completed the Nature Stewards program.  Nature Stewards is a 10 week course run by the Victorian National Parks Association that connects curious people with their local and wider habitats.  Claudia and Jonna enjoyed learning about the local environment, studying local environmental rehabilitation projects and meeting community members.  The photo shows Claudia sharing the geology of our Sunday Creek project with the course participants.
